Dear friends,
I’ve had an inspiring few weeks attending a range of events in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Spain to explore what’s currently shaping the legal world. To put it very briefly, the first LLM wave has now been surfed, and legal teams are gearing up to catch the next wave of opportunities.
Forerunners are already riding the next wave by redesigning their organizations and workflows, embedding AI capabilities to unlock team-level benefits. Together with Maria Sorsimo from Legora, we explored this topic at the Legal Design Summit by co-facilitating a Brainfactory session, “Organisational Design for Legal Teams in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” on September 10 at Alma Media. We’re hoping to find an organization to host a Glögit session with us on this theme next year so we can continue the discussion.

It’s widely recognized that data is the key enabler of quality outcomes in AI-driven legal work. Celebrating 6 Years of Legal Tech Glögit
In January, our network will celebrate its sixth anniversary—what a wonderful reason to get together, this time with no agenda.
You’re warmly welcome to join us at Restaurant Teatteri in Helsinki on January 15, 2026, from 17:00 to 19:00. The official invitation will follow in the coming weeks. The event will be hosted by ILVES and CSI Helsinki and promises a wonderful start to the new year.

Nordic Legal Tech Day, Helsinki
Nordic Legal Tech Day Helsinki will again take place on December 3, 2025, from 8:30 to 17:30 at Musiikkitalo. The event will delve into current topics such as artificial intelligence, legal tech innovations, and the changing role of legal professionals in the AI era. Industry leaders like Legora, PSA Solutions, NetDocuments, and Wolters Kluwer will showcase their latest solutions and share their freshest insights from the field.
The speaker lineup includes renowned experts such as Laura Jeffords Greenberg (Wordsmith Academy), Lucy Bassli (InnoLawGroup/remote), Maija Hovila (Futurice), and Harri Ketamo (HeadAI). More information about the program can be found here: NLTD Helsinki 2025.
